WHO AM I ?
My name is Hubert Didier. Originally from the Monts du Lyonnais, I grew up on an organic farm in a mixed farming system with cheese and flour processing. I am committed to preserving and cultivating the region’s traditional hedged and fruit-growing landscape.
my TRAINING
After a BTS in horticultural production, I went on to study engineering at ISTOM. My 6-month internship and final thesis were done in Kazakhstan on the theme of preserving the center of origin of the domestic apple tree, the stands of Malus sieversii apple trees in Kazakhstan.
My professional experience
I worked as a crop manager and trainer at the regional plant conservatory of Aquitaine for 5 years. In addition to the management of the 19ha of collections at the headquarters, I was in charge of setting up and monitoring more than 40 ornamental, educational and agroforestry orchards in the Aquitaine departments and surrounding areas.

Since 2021 I have created my company Fruitiers et compagnie specialized in fruit growing.
